Working
Title Films (WTF) is a British film production company and is vertically
integrated with Universal Studios. WTF was founded in 1983 by Tim Bevan and
Sarah Radclyffe. PolyGram became the company's corporate backer in 1992.Universal
Pictures is an American film studio founded in 1912. It is owned by
NBCUniversal which is a daughter company to Comcast. To get the word out
about the film a video was released with a narrator saying that people should
visit the place in the film and take part in the "Golden Mile" which
is what the characters do in the the film.
The
film company produces a lot of similar films so they would have an audience of
people aged 15 and upwards for most of their films.
The
film was distributed by Universal Pictures and they are owned by Comcast, Comcast
is an American provider of entertainment and they are the biggest cable
operator in addition to being one of the largest mass medias.
Even though the company don't release a lot of films each
year they release a lot of very successful ones over a few years which more
than makes up for them not releasing as many as their competitors.
